Tuesday October 26th. The Caro Tigers traveled North to Standish and swam against the Standish-Sterling Panthers. The Panthers always host a great meet. We would like to give a special thanks to the Panthers for taking time out of their Senior night. To recognize our Tiger Seniors as well. This was the last league meet of the season before The Independent Swim Conference meet on November 5th & 6th. So the Tigers were ready to swim, and with 80% of the team getting a PR in at least one event. They did not disappoint. I am very proud of how well these ladies have done this year. Thursday night the Caro Tigers were hosted by the Lapeer Lightning.
The Tigers took the lead early and held on for the rest of the swim meet, winning 117 to 70.
"It's nice to see our newer/ younger swimmers dropping time and stepping up to grab points. It really raises the team's spirit" said Captain Autumn Sutton.
A few of those races were the 200 freestyle, when Clair Warren (Freshman) dropped 18 seconds to take 1st. Then the 100 backstroke where all 3 Tigers(Hanna Wood, Claire Warren, Kristin Nika) dropped time for a new PR’s, and took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in that race.

Tigers Lose: 84 - 95
Tuesday night the Caro Tigers hosted the Garber Dukes.
It’s always a fun event when the Tigers meet the Dukes to race in the pool, and last night did not disappoint. Points were exchanged back and forth, with the outcome unknown to the last race.
The Tigers started the swim meet strong, taking the lead in the first event. They then held that lead taking 1st in the next 3 events. In event #5 (1 Meter Diving) the Dukes grabbed 10 points putting them in the lead 40 - 32. The Dukes were able to maintain their lead through event #8. In event #9 (200 Freestyle Relay) the Dukes fell back and the Tigers took over 67 - 66 with a 1st and 3rd finish. The Tigers held the 1 point lead until event #11 (100 Breaststroke) when the Dukes took over again 83 - 82. The last event (400 Freestyle Relay) the Tigers were only able to swim one team.
