Independent Swim Conference Championship 2022

Tigers Lose: -
Friday Nov. 4th the Caro Tiges traveled to the SVSU Gerstacker Aquatic Center to start the 2022 Independent Swim Conference Championship. The championship meet is a two day meet starting with prelims on Friday, from there the fastest 16 swimmers per event qualify to move onto Finals Saturday. The LadyTigers were ready to swim Friday qualifying in every event, sending 10 swimmers to the finals.
Finals on Saturday brought more great swims from the Tigers. Overall the Tigers finished 5th with 261 points, tying with Essexville Garber. The Lady Tigers had 19 new personal record swims which included two new school records. The first new record was in the 100 Breaststroke by Emma Joslyn, breaking her previous year's record. The second new record was for the 400 Freestyle relay, with a team of Hanna Wood, Sophia Wanless, Olivia Martens and Emma Joslyn.

Tigers Lose: 80 - 96
Thursday night the Tigers traveled to Essexville Garber High School to vs. the Dukes. The Dukes started off strong pulling ahead of the Tigers by 16 points in the first 4 events. The Tigers made a slight comeback reducing the deficit to 6 points. By the end the Dukes were able to regain their original lead with a final score of Garber 96 - Caro 80. We took away a lot of positive aspects from the meet. Garber has a large strong team, and it allowed us to test different areas of our swim.

Tigers Win: 92 - 87
The Caro Tigers started their swim season off on the right foot. Tuesday night Bay City Central Wolves hosted the Tigers for their first swim meet of the season. Captains Emma Joslyn and Hanna Wood lead the team to a Win 92 - 87. With Hanna Wood placing 1st in all 4 of her events. “We have 11 girls on the team this year, and are starting off very strong. I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.”-Coach Dave Sutton
