Girls Varsity Golf @ Regionals

Tigers Win: 516.00 - 0
On Monday, October 4th the team traveled to Mt. Pleasant Country Club for the Regional tournament. After an hour delay due to rain, the girls were able to tee off. The course was completely soaked. The girls found it difficult to land a ball anywhere that was not standing water. Through it all, the team shot a 516 and took 7th place for the Regional Tournament.

Tigers Lose: 235.00 - 254.00
The golf team travelled to Chesaning on Thursday and defeated them 235-254. Isabella DuRussel led the team with a 55 for the round. Molina Dewald broke into the 50's with a score of 57.

The girls defeated Capac by a score of 244-347. Freshman Caydence Curtis led the way with a 52 (her best round of the year). Up next the team will travel to Chesaning on Thursday for the final match of the season.

Tigers Lose: 261.00 - 323.00
The girls hosted Valley Lutheran at Arrowhead last night. The Tigers defeated VL by a score of 261-323. After being rained out the previous week the girls were excited to get back on the course. Isabella DuRussel shot a 59, this was her 3rd round of the season in the 50's. Next up the girls host Capac on Tuesday.

Tigers Win: 249.00 - 246.00
On Thursday, the team hosted Yale at Arrowhead GC. The girls were narrowly defeated by a score of 246-249. Gwen Geiger shot a 57 for the day. Isabella DuRussel shot a 60. Madelyn Jansen turned in a score of 65. Freshmen Caydence Curtis and Ninah Risdon shot rounds of 67 and 69. Riley Volz and Morgen Spencer turned in rounds of 70 and 80.

Tigers Lose: 241.00 - 999.00
The golf team competed against Nouvel on Tuesday at Crooked Creek GC, and were able to defeat Nouvel with a team score of 241. Leading the way was Gwen Geiger with a score of 53. Gwen has found her groove and has really been striking the ball well within the last two weeks. Isabella DuRussel turned in a round of 62 and got her first ever birdie during that round. Caydence Curtis and Madelyn Jansen continue to impress as first year golfers They turned in rounds of 62 and 64. Riley Volz and Ninah Risdon both struck the ball well during the round, and turned in rounds of 70 and 72.

Tigers Lose: 261.00 - 999.00
The team competed against Capac yesterday at Holly Meadows GC. The Caro Tigers were able to defeat Capac with a score of 261 for the day. The girls improved their team score by 30 strokes from last week's match. Up next, the team will travel to Pleasant View GC on Thursday to compete against Valley Lutheran.

Tigers Win: 291.00 - 240.00
JG got the best of us today. 240-291. This young team will have a bright future over the next few seasons, but this season will have it’s share of growing pains. Lot of good shots today that will eventually turn into lower scores as these girls keep playing the game.
